"A fabulous event was Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats' concert on 7/23 in Minneapolis. I mean TOOK THE STAGE, and for the next two and a half hours they sang a program of music that was thrilling when they took the stage. I was a little worried when Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats on stage sang the first three numbers without. Their generosity in sharing the microphone and in naming the soloists in their band was heartwarming. But beyond their engaging personality looms their tremendous talent: their singing is unique and, at times, inspiring, wistful, funny and dramatic. Their guitar playing is outstanding. Their guitar playing is outstanding. I believe they are one of the best guitar players in the business. All songs but 2 or 3 were written by Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats! What a show!!!"
